Nation of Fools

07 Nov

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.

It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president.

The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their President.”
Congratulations, fools.  You got your man.  Hold out your wrists for the shackles you asked for.

Unfortunately you hit the nail on the head once again. This nation of fools we live in is going to get quite a lesson in paying the consequences of their actions with this one, I fear. As for the rest of us, we will just have to endure the suffering it will take to bring this nation to it’s knees- and turn us back into one nation under GOD.

Yep, we live in a culture in which people just want to hedonistically indulge their every desire, whether it’s smoking pot, acting out sexually, worshipping their idols, anything but following the laws of the Lord. We’re a nation of fools alright, it’s just unfortunately for the more wise folks because we are going to have to suffer right along with them!

I’m right there with lady liberty. Cried my eyes out to God last night. He is in control. Our nation’s vote will stand as a testimony against us at the last day. I’m repeating to myself over and over again this quote from Mormon prophet President Hinckley to try and give me hope. ~ “Things work out, it isn’t as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out, don’t worry. I say that to myself every morning. It will all work out. If you do your best, it will all work out. Put your trust in God, and move forward with faith and confidence in the future. The Lord will not forsake us. If we will put our trust in him, if we will pray to him, if we will live worthy of his blessings, he will hear our prayers.” ~ Christ is in control. God help us.
